Trapped Inside: House Edition

You wake up to a terrifying cry. It's coming from the kitchen. You stumble towards it, your heart pounding in your ribs. The door is bolted tight. Panic sets in as you realize you are completely stuck inside your own house, and there's no way to get out.

Vehicle Vexation: Lost in the Car

There's nothing like a sunny/bright/beautiful day to be ruined by a classic car mishap/problem/fail. You step/stroll/walk confidently toward your vehicle/car/ride, ready for a pleasant/nice/enjoyable drive/trip/outing. But then the realization/discovery/dread hits: your keys/remote/ignition key is stuck/trapped/locked inside!

The door/trunk/hood won't budge, and you're stranded/helpless/frustrated in a parking lot/street corner/busy area. You try every trick/tactic/hack you can think/remember/recall, but nothing seems to work. Your phone/GPS/navigation system is useless without your car, and the nearest/closest/available auto shop/locksmith/mechanic feels a million miles away. Now you're faced with the daunting/tricky/difficult task of getting your vehicle/car/ride back on track, while trying to maintain your cool/calm/composure.

Trapped Myself In: The Car Conundrum

Okay, so picture this: you're in a scramble, late for work. You've got your tea and tunes cranking, feeling pretty pumped. Then BAM! You find that you can't get out the darn car.

Stressed right? Your mind starts racing, thinking of all the possible scenarios. Did you secure the doors too tight? Is the lock faulty? Or did you act something stupid to set this whole fiasco in motion?

At that point, all you can do is take a breath. Try not to freak out. There are usually ways to get yourself un- key'd. Maybe there's a spare key somewhere, or a friend who could come over?

Car Calamity: Locked Out Blues

There's nothing quite as irritating/frustrating/annoying as being completely/utterly/totally locked out of your car. You've double-checked/triple-checked/gone over and over the doors, windows, even that little crevice/gap/opening under the trunk/boot/rear hatch – nothing. You're stranded, staring at the metal barrier separating you from your beloved/trusted/reliable vehicle, and the weight of this unexpected situation sets in/crashes down/hits hard. Suddenly, every minute/second/tick feels like an hour as you frantically try to remember if there's a spare key hidden somewhere or someone/a friend/family member who might be able to help.

Your heart rate increases/climbs/starts to race as your mind races through every possible solution. Did you leave the spare key/backup key/emergency key with your neighbor? Is there a way to jimmy open the door/lock/handle? You begin to feel panicked/desperate/hopeless, imagining yourself stuck here for i lock my car key in the car hours, even days. Trapped! Keys in the Car!

Okay, so deep breath, this is totally a nightmare/meltdown/disaster. My stupid/silly/dang keys are locked inside/trapped inside/stuck inside my car/vehicle/ride. I've tried everything/breaking the window but nothing is working.

Now, I {need to find a wayto get in/into my car/to unlock the door ASAP because I have a meeting/an appointment/to pick up someone. This is so frustrating/annoying/stressful, and I am starting to panic/really freaking out/losing it!

Trapped by Tiny Metal Prison (My Car)

This crate on wheels has become my jail. I'm completely confined inside this aluminium monstrosity. It's a horrible predicament. The drive train is growling like a savage, and the vehicles are crawling at a snail's speed. My only hope is to discover a petrol station before this metal coffin collapses.
